Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to plumbing work carried out by Flow Right Plumbing in Ashford, Kent and the surrounding area.

Quotes and Fixed Prices

Where possible, we provide a clear fixed-price quote before work begins. Quotes are based on the information, description, photos, videos, and access details provided by the customer.

The fixed price applies to the work specifically described in the quote. If the work required is different from the information provided, or if additional work is requested, this may require a revised quote before proceeding.

Site Visits and Diagnostics

Where an issue cannot reasonably be assessed remotely from photographs, videos or a description, Flow Right will discuss the appropriate next step before anything is booked. Any charge for attendance will be agreed with you in advance.

Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Guarantee

Work carried out by Flow Right Plumbing is covered by a one-year guarantee on workmanship and Flow Right-supplied materials.

This guarantee covers the plumbing work carried out by Flow Right Plumbing. It does not cover customer-supplied parts, faulty products, existing plumbing defects, blockages, water quality issues, misuse, accidental damage, unrelated faults, or work that has been altered or interfered with by others after completion.

Manufacturer guarantees may apply separately to parts or products supplied.

Customer-Supplied Parts

Where customers supply their own parts, Flow Right Plumbing cannot guarantee the quality, suitability, or future performance of those parts. Labour to fit customer-supplied parts remains covered by our workmanship guarantee.

If a customer-supplied part is faulty, unsuitable, incomplete, or damaged, further charges may apply for additional time, return visits, or replacement work.

Access and Parking

The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and work area. Any parking restrictions, permits, access codes, pets, or other access issues should be made clear before the appointment.

Heating and Radiator Work

For radiator, valve, or heating system work, the heating system must be switched off well before arrival so the system is cool and safe to work on. Flow Right Plumbing may not be able to work on a hot system.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give as much notice as possible.

For certain bookings made by phone, WhatsApp, email, or online, consumer cancellation rights may apply. If you ask us to begin work within any cancellation period, you agree that charges may apply for work already carried out, parts ordered, or costs reasonably incurred.

Scope of Work

Flow Right Plumbing carries out small domestic plumbing repairs and related work. We do not carry out gas work, boiler work, full bathroom installations, tiling, decorating, or large commercial works.

Photography and Video Recording

Flow Right Plumbing may occasionally photograph or record plumbing installations, fittings, pipework, valves and associated work areas during a visit. These records may be retained as part of the job documentation and used for aftercare, warranty enquiries, component identification, future technical assistance and maintaining an accurate record of work undertaken.

Occasionally, interesting or noteworthy plumbing work — such as unusual toilets, basins, fittings or installations — may be featured in promotional or educational material published on social media platforms, YouTube, or other online channels. Flow Right Plumbing takes reasonable steps to ensure that nothing identifiable to the property, address or customer appears in any such material and, where appropriate, identifying information will be removed or obscured before publication.

Customers are welcome to ask us not to photograph or record their property, or to request that recordings are retained for job-record purposes only and are not used publicly. This will not affect the service provided.

Statutory Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
